Meet Your Photographer, Keya!

Hey Beautiful,

I'm a Stay-at-Home Mama who loves capturing all life's moments! Growing up in Dallas, Texas, I had low self-esteem and was afraid to truly be myself around others for fear that they'd reject me. I grew up like most girls, thinking that they had to change or add to themselves to be beautiful and accepted.

Over the years, I've come to realize that beauty is not how I look on the outside, but it's WHO I AM. My hope as your photographer is to provide you with a joyous experience while encouraging you to loosen up , fully embrace yourself and the moment at hand, and to DELIGHT you with how ravishingly beautiful you and your life is.

With Love,

Keya's Praise Reports

“I really like the way she edits the pictures to bring out the best features in my baby. She is good at giving ideas for the poses using props and nature. I would recommend using her services for events and professional photo shoots.”

“Wow!! T’keyah did some photos for my partner and me and we absolutely love them! It’s almost like falling in love all over again! She was super helpful in guiding our poses and the pictures turned out great! It’s so nice to have professional quality photos with both of us. Thank you so much!!”

“I had Tkeyah shoot my graduation pictures. It was a great experience. I had not much experience taking professional pictures, but Tkeyah was awesome when working with me. She suggested different poses and knew the best scenery for the shoot. I highly recommend her. She's a great photographer and very passionate about her work; she's also not too pricey, so it's a win win”

“I recently had a double mastectomy and was afraid to see myself even to think of myself as beautiful. Working with Keya Kaptures made me feel beautiful, empowered, and love me and by body again. I thought I would not be able to see myself or the scares from the surgery for at least a year, but she helped me to except myself and my body. And she made the shoot fun where I was not focused on the negative but on the positive. She not only told me I was beautiful, but she made me feel beautiful as well.”
